Chloe
The highly anticipated Chloe mini-series, a true psychological thriller created by Alice Seabright (writer/director, Sex Education) and starring Erin Doherty (The Crown), comes to Prime Video after first airing in the UK United on BBC One and BBC iPlayer last winter to critical acclaim.
The series follows Becky Green (Doherty), who is obsessed with following the social media presence of her childhood friend Chloe Fairbourne (Poppy Gilbert), perfectly groomed. Chloe's beautiful life, loving husband, and circle of successful friends are always just a click away, and Becky can't help but catch a glimpse of a world so different from her own as she cares for her mother, who is suffering from dementia.
When Chloe suddenly dies, Becky takes on a new identity and invades the enviable lives of Chloe's closest friends to find out what happened to her. Thanks to her alter ego Sasha, Becky becomes a powerful and transgressive heroine, a popular and well-connected "somebody" who has a life - and love - far more exciting and addictive than the "person" she is as Becky. Pretense quickly hides reality and confuses her, however, and Becky discovers that Chloe's real life is nowhere near as perfect as it is portrayed online. As Becky delves deeper into her deception and Chloe's inner circle, she risks losing herself completely in the game she is playing.
The Chloe miniseries will be released on Prime Video on 24 June.
