adidas launches new label with Wednesday star Jenna Ortega
For the first time in 50 years, sports brand adidas is launching a new label. The face of the campaign is actress and style icon Jenna Ortega.
After the two labels Performance and Originals, the German fashion company Adidas now presents a new label: adidas Sportswear. The latest performance technologies are used to breathe fresh styles into everyday looks that carry the comfort of the previous performance collections for athletes and sportswomen.
Jenna Ortega has been chosen as brand ambassador for the new label's campaign and the spring/summer 2023 collection. She is considered an icon of the next generation and embodies the values of Adidas through her style, individualism and versatility.

adidas Sportswear focuses on maximum comfort. The collection convinces with simple cuts and colours, minimalist details and high functionality. Each piece contributes to unique looks through individual combinations that create sporty styles and offer the wearer a high level of comfort.
The collection focuses on the two lines AVRYN and Trio Suit. With Trio Suit, the classic Adidas tracksuit has been completely reinterpreted. While the sporty core remains the same, functionality paired with reduced details is brought to the fore. Jenna Ortega loves the many possible combinations and wears the Trio Suit with a shirt and tie or sequined top. AVRYN is the new shoe line. The shoe is partly made from recycled materials and incorporates Boost and Bounce technology, which provides cushioning and durability for an optimal running experience.
The collection features a variety of neutral and bold hues and eye-catching prints. Among the new designs is a purple and black striped open silk dress with a tie collar. This allows it to be worn as a dress or a light, sporty jacket. The oversized Coach jacket shines with its classic, monochrome colour scheme in a timeless style.

Jasmin Bynoe is the senior designer for adidas Sportswear. For the creation of the collection, it was particularly important to her to realise individual combination possibilities. The wearers can thus express their own individual look. In the course of the campaign, Jenna Ortega will be joined by other Adidas partners to further showcase individualism. Among others, basketball player Trae Young and influencer and gamer Carolina Voltan will be part of the campaign.
The new adidas sportswear has been available in the online shop and in stores worldwide since February 9.
