How To Land Big Name Clients For Your Start-Up: Myles Kronman

In the United States, hundreds of start-ups are founded each year. Starting a new company is an attractive proposition and an opportunity for success for aspiring entrepreneurs is attracted. However, statistics show that the failure rate of start-ups is around 90%, with 20% of all start-ups failing in their first year alone. The reasons for failure are many and complicated. However, as someone who has founded many successful start-ups, Myles Kronman is a big believer in the contribution that big-name clients can make to the longevity of your start-up.

“If a celebrity or influencer endorses a product or a brand, then people sit up and pay attention,” explains Kronman. “The rights and wrong of that do not matter; it’s a simple fact of life,” he adds.

The founder of luxury cleaning company Clean Hamptons which has prestigious clients in its book such as Jay Z, J-Lo, and Billy Joel, knows a thing or two about start-ups and celebrities. Kronman also a well-known socialite in the Hamptons and introduced luminaries such as Michael Jordan, 50 Cent, and Tekesha 60 to the Jue Lan Club Southampton.

In 2020, Kronman started a digital marketing agency, DigitsUp, and creative network Model House and used his big-name connections as a means to promote his brand. It is something Kronman insists all start-ups should strive to do if they’re planning on sticking around for the long term.

Myles Kronman explains, “Landing big-name clients for your start-up automatically gives your brand prestige and power that money cannot buy. It may sound beyond your reach, but there’s a simple process you can follow to make it work. Firstly, you need to dedicate much time to networking and create awareness about your brand. Secondly, you need to think big and have much confidence. Big names are attracted to confidence and enjoy being associated with it. Thirdly, do not be afraid to send emails and strategically connect with the people you’re head-hunting. Lastly, make a great impression on your potential client by building an impressive portfolio, throwing a big event in their honor, and showing them how your company prioritizes quality, consistency, and fairness. Famous clients are human beings like everyone else, and if your company is doing things the right way, trust me, they’ll want to be involved.”
