Fruity berry punch
Ingredients:
1 litre orange juice
250 ml rum
750 ml red wine
2 litres fruit tea
1 tbsp whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
200 g sugar
2 tbsp mulled wine spice
Some berry syrup
Recipe:
Bring the red wine and sugar to the boil. Boil the tea, then add to the red wine with the cloves and cinnamon stick and bring to the boil again. Mix the orange juice with the rum and add to the rest. Flavour with mulled wine spice. If required, the punch can be sweetened with berry syrup.
Hot apple pie punch
Ingredients:
3 litres apple juice
1 litre rum
500 g sugar
1 vanilla pod
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground star anise
Recipe:
Mix the sugar with the spices. Then get the apple juice and rum boiling. Reduce the heat and add the sugar and spice mixture. Leave to simmer gently. Then switch off the hob and leave to infuse for 15 minutes. Allow to simmer again briefly before serving. The punch can be garnished with an apple slice on the rim of the cup.
Non-alcoholic children's punch
Ingredients:
2 litres fruit tea
1 litre orange juice
3-4 tbsp lemon juice
3 cinnamon sticks
3 vanilla pods
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp star anise
Recipe:
Boil the fruit tea, then add the orange juice and lemon juice. Add the spices and simmer for 10-15 minutes at a low temperature. Then strain out the spices and serve the punch with a slice of orange.
