Restaurant DEVAL: An Extra-Class Flavour Experience

L’Officiel Austria went to check the reviews of professionals and gourmands, taste the exquisite dishes from the Chef, and share impressions with our readers, especially since DEVAL is offering its guests a new special menu this summer.

 

Having crossed the restaurant’s threshold, you immediately feel a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Dinner includes a 6-course Chef’s Choice menu. It is worth noting that Daan de Val, co-founder and Chef of DEVAL, is very creative in creating various harmonious flavour combinations. Each dish is unique in its own way and reflects his personality and experience. Daan de Val personally participates in serving the dishes and explains every recipe and every ingredient to the guests, thus turning dinner into a creative gastronomic evening. “We rely exclusively on regional products,” says Chef of DEVAL. The ingredients acquire a premium taste thanks to the unusual processing. To achieve such gastronomic perfection, the Chef and his team carefully select products from local farmers and selected producers.

At lunchtime, you can also enjoy creative dishes by Сhef Daan de Val. The à la carte lunch menu is also impressive (the lunch offer is valid from Wednesday to Friday from 12:00 to 15:00, order acceptance until 13:30). Given the restaurant's location on Doblhoffgasse, you can spend your lunch break in an atmosphere of stylish design inside a well-conditioned room or outside in the cosy Schanigarten overlooking the Vienna Parliament. Each of these options will make your lunch enjoyable.

Since opening, DEVAL has provided the highest level of service. Visitors’ friendship and trust are highly valued here. You can enjoy the menu either with meat or vegetarian options. Other dietary restrictions can be accommodated upon request.

The lunch menu at DEVAL is updated weekly. Its fresh, innovative daily specials are tailored to the preferences of both vegetarians and meat lovers.
