Paris Confidential in the Heart of the ville lumière - Les Jardins Du Faubourg
Les Jardins du Faubourg (@lesjardinsdufaubourg)- is the new 5-star hotel of the Rouleau Guichard Group, headed by Olivier Rouleau, which opened in June 2019 in the French capital and whose general management is entrusted to Jennifer Boccara.
Les Jardins du Faubourg is a confidential address in the heart of the capital, which offers its French and international clientele two distinct universes inspired by Arnaud Behzadi, architect and decorator, and Vincent Bastie - the building architect.
For the decoration, Arnaud Behzadi very quickly imagined the character he wanted to give to this former bourgeois mansion. The few Louis Philippe-style cornices, the wooden pediments of the wooden doors, but also the carrare fireplaces framed with lions' paws seen during the first visit had already won him over.
In the first "Parisian" building overlooking the rue d'Aguesseau, the hotel offers 24 rooms and 3 suites with refined and elegant decor, in the purest Haussmann tradition.
The welcome products offered in the bathrooms are Nuxe in the Parisian rooms and Joe Malone in the suites and contemporary rooms. There is also a "Le Petit Prince" collection for children.
The second building, the "contemporary" one, with its alucobond façade lined with climbing surrounding jasmine, is resolutely modern. Overlooking the planted interior courtyard and its magnificent 100 m2 terrace, the contemporary building leaves a futuristic impression.
In the heart of this garden, imagined by the landscape designer Xavier de Chirac, a delicate Japanese medlar tree is a rallying point between the two buildings. The building houses 8 rooms in a contemporary decoration, with pure lines; as well as a suite called "La Villa Faubourg", with its own private garden.
The architect Arnaud Behzadi decided to take care of the interior design down to the smallest details. In the rooms, the restaurant, and the spa, the seats, bedside tables, desks cabinets, lighting fixtures, door handles, faucets, and even the lines of the air-conditioning vents have been custom-designed.
As the place is noble, the materials have been carefully selected. With Les Jardins du Faubourg, Arnaud Behzadi assumes a strong duality between sophistication and simplicity and weaves a permanent dialogue between the interior and the exterior. This is the magic of the place: to suspend time and make the visitor evolve without artifice but with emotion and poetry for an elegant Parisian stay.
