10 years of Rockstud: Maison Valentino launches new collaboration
Maison Valentino is launching a new project to mark the anniversary of Rockstud accessories: Rockstud X. With international designers and brands, the much-loved "studs" are to be given new characters. But one thing in particular is in focus: the collaboration. This is both a medium and a result - but it only works if both parties are burning to create something great.
A collaboration with British designer Craig Green is the beginning of the promising Valentino Garavani Rockstud X project. Together, the designers are creating an exclusive, limited-edition men's sneaker in four different colourways: black, light ivory, army green and dark grey.
The unusual interpretation for the 10th anniversary lets the typical studded head motif appear in a new guise: in a sculptural sole made of Maxi Rockstuds. This contributes not only to the design aesthetic but also to the functionality.

Craig Green x Rockstud X Valentino Garavani is the result of an intense collaboration between designers. The integrated structure, which consists of wood and paper components, was made from environmentally friendly elements and is thus not only original and fashionable, but also sustainable.
The sneakers were launched at Dover Street Market London and Ginza on 12 June 2021 and will be available in selected Valentino boutiques, as well as on valentino.com for €890 in the coming weeks.
