A waltz on the table: Carl Suchy & Söhne presents exclusive clock
K.u.k. Court supplier celebrated its resurrection in recent years. Thanks to investors, the brand has been revived. Now Carl Suchy & Söhne is showing us part of its refined evolution, because 150 years ago Carl Suchy & Söhne was already producing table clocks that still adorn the intellectual salons in Vienna today.
Since last autumn, there has been a table clock of the new generation - with the in-house staff movement CS-T1, which took two years to develop. With the Table Waltz, Carl Suchy & Söhne presents an object d'art that adorns every room with the brand's stylistic confidence and the solidity of Vienna.
The engraved glass on the front and back was handmade by the traditional manufactory J. & L. Lobmeyr. It blends seamlessly into the conical fit of the brass case. The movement consists entirely of individual parts made in Austria: Plates, pivots and gears, as well as the characteristic gears in the Carl-Suchy-&-Söhne design were individually handcrafted in the Waldviertel region of Austria. The case, milled from a single block of brass and refined by means of a special nickel-plating process, merges with the movement in a flowing fit and gives the table clock its simple Viennese elegance and powerful charisma.
A handcrafted, contemporary Viennese work of art for connoisseurs who know and appreciate the value of time. Entirely in the spirit of its founder, who has been casting a spell over Carl Suchy & Söhne since as early as 1822, famous personalities from the Habsburgs to Sigmund Freud.
