Round-Trip to the Moon
Farhad Re drew his inspiration from current events: fascinated by the conquest of space, he imagined a modern woman, conquering the world, while connecting her to her Roman origins, just like a vestal of the future...
In the expected continuation of the couture collection, Farhad Re presents the first Prêt-à-Porter collection. We face the warrior and conqueror woman, the signature of the creator, in dresses made out of 100% chiffon and silk tulle. The very elaborate details attest to Farhad's desire for high-end, such as the silk organza squares, cut and folded by hand to form a flower - a design that can be found throughout the couture collection. Note that the dyes in the collection - green, blue, pink - are entirely ecological and specifically developed for this collection, giving it a unique character.
The gold armor created for sewing has been used here as a belt, bustier, and dress. A deliberately sexy collection, with dizzying slits, reminiscent of women's gowns from ancient Rome. The fluidity contrasts with the rigidity of the gold armor and organza flower belts. A woman is aware that the earth is fragile and that the answer to all our questions lies beyond our planet.
