Versatily, Passion and Music: Introducing Elisa de Panicis
Elisa, how has your Italian heritage influenced your career aspirations as a dancer, actress and singer?
Being born in Italy gave me the Italian zest for music and acting. I always wanted to explore more international aspirations for my career, so I took my inspiration from the big Italian names that made it on the international stage, such as Monica Bellucci, Sofia Loren for acting, of course. I looked to international stars such as Beyonce too as I want to be part of world culture and understand the different kind of dance, ways of acting and different genres of music.
What has been your favourite modelling, acting or singing job to date and why?
I have so many it would be difficult to name just one. The important thing to me is to stay true to myself when I act, model or sing and to stay true to my passion and also to meet and work with people who are as passionate as I am. The one artist that I would especially love to work with is Colombian singer, Maluma.
Who are your style icons and why?
My absolute style icon is Rihanna, because she has evolved trough the years and developed her own, unique style.
Does fashion play an important role in your life?
Fashion has played a huge role for me personally and in my career. Through fashion I can express myself. I think that through fashion is an art form that everyone can appreciate and take inspiration from.
Do you have a staple piece of clothing in your wardrobe that you will never part with?
I always have with a belt with me! I think that with a nice belt you can dress up, or dress down and change your look. Accessories in general are very important to me.
Tell us about your future plans: upcoming projects, dreams and aspirations?
I’m all about music right now! My single is coming out on May 3rd. In the future I’ll have an album with many new song and also I’m also planning many interesting features and collaborations!
