Maria Grazia Chiuri and Dior seek India's fashion synergies

Mumbai's Gateway of India will host a spectacular fashion show by Dior on 30 March. The Pre-Fall 2023 collection will be presented there for the first time.

Dior chose the historic Gateway of India monument to showcase the Parisian fashion house's Pre-Fall 2023 collection.

"For me, showing in India means celebrating the Indian heritage of embroidery and its role in the fashion world," explains Dior's Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri. To this end, she has been working for some time with the "Chanakya" School of Crafts and Fashion, which is committed to promoting the employment and professionalisation of women.
