A name with Sanskrit roots
Deha is derived from Sanskrit, an ancient language spoken in India and considered by many to be the perfect idiom, used by the Gods. "Deha" in Sanskrit means human body: it is the form that draws the personal uniqueness of each of us.
Deha is also related to another Sanskrit word 'dyu-div' which means that which shines and is divine in nature. The combination of the two meanings - body + divine light - encapsulates the vision of woman as a unique creature embodying multiple goddesses, a symbol of feminine energy. From the early days in Italy to its development abroad
From the beginnings in Italy to the development abroad Deha was founded in 2005 with its roots in the world of dance, but soon extended its boundaries to the entire activewear world, making quality, sustainability and Made in Italy the cornerstones of its rise inside and outside Italy. Today, the brand is distributed in 25 countries and has 800 sales outlets, 35 shop-in-shops and 4 monobrand shops. Since its beginnings, it has been distinguished by its dualism of active and fashion, embodying the full synthesis of the spirit and evolution of the Meeting group, born in 1967 in Treviso, in the heart of the Veneto region.
