Balenciaga's Dinner for the History Books: Paris Couture Fashion Week
Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Dua Lipa, Kim Kardashian, Róisín Murphy, Nicole Kidman, Christine Quinn, Kris Jenner, and Emily Ratajkowski were among those on the guest list.
The Maison chose one of the most sought-after locations in Paris: the recently opened Hôtel de la Marine on Place de la Concorde. The hotel celebrated its opening last year after being renovated for the first time in 200 years.
That networking is essential in fashion is clear to Creative Director Demna. His dinners, which take place in the evening after the show, are therefore always attended by the most exclusive guests.
And as befits a dinner party, a table magician was also invited. Old-fashioned, you think? Not when it's one of the world's most famous illusionists, David Blaine. Here too, of course, one plays in the superlative. And if this wouldn't have been enough: Electro-superstar Róisín Murphy played a gig.
By the way: For dessert, there was rhubarb tart with candied strawberry consommé. In the glasses: Grand Vin de Château Latour 2013 and Condrieu les terrasses du Palat 2019 by Francois Villard.
