The LaLee: Historically Inspired European Cuisine in London
Located in the heart of Chelsea, The LaLee pays tribute to Lillie Langtry. Until 1897, the famous British socialite lived in the building that would later become the Cadogan Hotel. She is considered one of the most legendary residents the hotel has ever accommodated. Her amazing, innovative style and her talent to perform is what motivated the Cadogan Hotel to launch a restaurant in her honor. Not only the menu pays tribute to Lillie Langtry’s exquisite taste. The interiors – amazingly designed cornicing and Langtry’s floral motif also remind of the restaurants muse.
Enjoy European cuisine – all day long! The LaLee serves famous dishes from different European countries. Breakfast, as we all know, is the most important meal of the day. At The LaLee, the Continental Breakfast Buffet includes delicious, freshly made pastries, seasonal fruits, and yoghurts as well as a selection of charcuterie and cheese. A range of vegan and healthier options are also available. The all-day dining menu ranges from Italian carpaccio, over Cornish cod to the Austrian specialty, the Wiener Schnitzel. The LaLee’s cocktail menu boasts 15 signature creations inspired by Lillie Langtry’s travel adventures through Europe. The menu creatively features what its muse Lillie might have said about each of the 15 cocktails. Depicted above is the great Cobalt and Tonic which pays homage to Amsterdam and sparkles in Langtry’s favorite color - purple.
