When booking a holiday, you are always looking for the perfect hotel room or flat. It should be nice, have the right facilities and be in a good location. After the trip, people talk about great experiences and good food - but usually only briefly and succinctly about how the accommodation was. But how about a place to sleep that is a real highlight of your holiday? Something completely different that you like to tell your best friend and colleagues about in detail?

Quetzalcoatl's Nest is an extraordinary accommodation in Naucalpan de Juárez, Mexico. The residential complex with a total of 10 flats is reminiscent of a giant snake and was designed by architect Javier Senosiain Aguilar. The building extends over a height of 20 metres and a length of 120 metres. The curved shape is based on organic architecture and is in harmony with nature.
Surrounded by trees, valleys and wild animals, the property has a dreamlike garden with a water pond. The minimalist interior is bright and modern. Round windows offer a varied view of the idyllic landscape. The complex's irrigation system is based on sustainability: water used in the flats is channelled into the property's water treatment plant, allowing it to be reused for watering all the green areas.
