3 reinvented cocktail recipes to make this summer special

As refreshing as they are easy to make, these cocktail recipes based on Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge offer a daring combination of the intense tropical flavor of bitter orange and the elegant refinement of cognac.

GRAND MARGARITA

This very refreshing cocktail combines the acidic flavor of lime with the herbaceous notes of tequila, while the eccentric blend of oak cognac and bitter orange essence of Grand Marnier brings a refined sweetness and an experience of increased consumption.

 

Ingredients:

- 30ml. Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
- 30ml. tequila
- 20ml. fresh lime juice
- Lime wedge for garnish

 

Recipe:

- Start by filling a large, shallow dish with 2 to 3 mm of fine salt. Cut a lime in half and rub it around half the rim of the glass.

- Then, holding the glass upside down, gently dip the wet half in the salt, so that it adheres to the edge to a thickness of 2 to 3 mm

- Shake the Grand Marnier, tequila and lime juice with ice and pour them into the glass

- Apply a lemon wedge on the edge of the glass

GRAND MAI TAI

Meaning "out of this world" in Tahitian, the ethics that underlie the name of Mai Tai goes perfectly with the characteristics of Grand Marnier - inimitable and truly unique. The Grand Mai Tai allows the bitter orange essence of the Cordon Rouge to take center stage, creating a unique cocktail of its kind.

 

Ingredients:

- 30ml. Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
- 60ml. Appleton Estate rum
- 15ml. orgeat syrup
- 15ml. fresh lime juice
- Lime slice, mint leaf and pineapple to garnish

 

Recipe:

- Mix all the ingredients in a shaker and shake briefly with ice

- Pour into an old-fashioned double glass

- Add the garnish

GRAND TONIC

Capitalizing on the ever popular movement of gin and tonic, the Grand Tonic is a majestic creation of refined simplicity. Reimagined with the presence of Grand Marnier instead of gin, the bitterness perfectly complements the richness of the bitter orange to create the ultimate refreshment, while the orange slice and the eccentric garnish effortlessly reflect the Cordon Rouge and all its facets.

 

 

Ingredients:

- 50ml. Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
- Tonic
- Ice cubes
- Orange slice
- Eccentric garnish (raspberry / grape)

 

Recipe:

- Place the ice cubes in a balloon glass and add the Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge

- Complete with toner and stir well before adding the orange slice

- Finish by adding the garnish
