MUKHA concept store opens its doors for a charity fashion initiative
On 1-2 October 2022, MUKHA Concept Store, with the support of Ukrainian Fashion Week's "Support Ukrainian Fashion" initiative, hosted the [S'AIVO] Charity Market, a Ukrainian designer pop-up and charity auction in Vienna.
[S'AIVO] Charity Market
For two days, [S'AIVO] at the MUKHA Concept Store was transformed into a Ukrainian space in the heart of the Austrian capital. The queue for the Charity Market with vintage items and the Charity Pop-Up Store with items by Ukrainian designers ARUTIUNOVA, SIDLETSKIY, VIKA ADAMSKAYA, OLIZ and NEARON stretched into the neighboring alley.
"[S'AIVO] is a unique event. It combined three different formats, allowing hundreds of guests to join the charitable cause, support the designers, try on and buy their designer pieces. The [S'AIVO] project makes it possible for people to get involved through fashion to support those who need it most now," - says Iryna Danilevska, co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
This was the first [S'AIVO] charity market, a Ukrainian designer pop-up and charity auction showcasing the works of prominent Ukrainian designers - NADYA DZYAK, BEVZA, FROLOV, the COAT, GASANOVA, KSENIASCHNAIDER, SLEEPER, ETNODIM, as well as around the world celebrities and exclusive NFT works by GUDU from the 21 DAYS OF HOPE collection. In total, more than 650.000 hryvnias (18.000 euros) were raised.
The entire profit from the auction as well as part of the profit from the charity pop-up of Ukrainian designers will be donated to the KOLO charity fund, which supports the project "Childhood without War" and thus evacuated orphans from Ukraine. The organizers will transfer funds from the charity market to HELP UKRAINE CENTER for the purchase of medicines and medical equipment for hospitals and clinics for children and adults.
