Yes: the second collection of Justin Timberlake and Levi's
Memphis is inextricably linked to music. Think of legends Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, BB King, Johnny Cash, Otis Redding, Muddy Waters, Isaac Hayes and of course mister Timberlake himself . This city, also called 'Bluff City' , has had a huge impact on music from the 20th century. The city also had a huge influence on music and style on resident Justin Timberlake. And that is reflected in the Spring 2019 Fresh Leaves capsule collection , its second with Levi’s .
In the Fresh Leaves collection inspired by Memphis you will find Levi's classics with a twist. You will also receive a mini-tour through Memphis through the items of clothing. Some items in the collection have a direct reference to the city. You'll find a leaf print (inspired by Justin's favorite tree), graphic T-shirts that refer to the Zippin Pippin rollercoaster in old East End Park, the Skateland roller skate rink, the University of Memphis Tigers Basketball and a twist on Levi's classic Trucker Jacket who pays tribute to some of JT's music idols.
Furthermore, the collection is full of nostalgic nods to what Memphis was like in Justin's childhood. It is very cool to see that nostalgia and classic Levi items are combined with modern styles, silhouettes and looks. Of course in Timberlake's characteristic mix of hip hop, rock and streetwear. The Levi's x Justin Timberlake Spring 2019 Fresh Leaves capsule collection is available from 11 April in all Levi's stores and online.
