The 79th edition of the world's longest running film festival has just ended. After eleven days of Red Carpet, press conferences and premieres, it is safe to say that it was one of the most surprising and glamorous Film Festivals in recent years. 

Stars of the calibre of Penelope Cruz, Cate Blanchett and Julianne Moore strutted their stuff in the lagoon, not only demonstrating their acting skills, but also reconfirming their stylistic influence.

01 Juliane Moore in Celine 

 

American actress Julianne Moore enchanted at the Venice Film Festival wearing a Celine gown on the red carpet.
The long one-shoulder silver-coloured dress is covered entirely in crystals, with cut-out details at breast height.

Loose red hair on her shoulders and a trickle of make-up for the 61-year-old, who added sparkling Cartier jewellery to give her glamorous outfit an extra touch of precious light. 02 Timotee Chalamet goes backless

 

One of the few men who was able to steal the show from the divas on the Red Carpet was Timothée Chalamet.

The Hollywood superstar, 26-year-old actor, who has become a household name thanks to his starring roles in films like Dune and Call me by your name, was the talk of the town at the 79th Venice International Film Festival thanks to his red carpet style.

For the premiere of his new film Bones and All he wore a backless, sleeveless, scarf-included bright red top and pants look designed by Haider Ackerman

The actor is already a pioneer, who embraces a more unconventional wardrobe in an industry bound by convention. In fact, this is not the first time he rocks the red carpret..remember when he hit the oscars in a glittery black Louis Vuitton womenswear jacket?

03 Ana De Armas like Marlyn Monroe 

 

 

Expectations for the Red Carpet of Blonde, the film tracing the fame of actress Marilyn Monroe, were very high.

The beautiful Ana De Armas satisfied them. Precisely, she did so wearing a custom-made hand-pleated satin chiffon dress by Louis Vuitton

04 Irina Shayk in Pinko

 

Russian Supermodel Irina Shayk redefined the power of The Little Black Dress at the 79th annual Venice International Film Festival.

She attended the premiere of L'immensità starring Penelope Cruz. in a black satin slip-dress with a low-cut back. By showing how certain details can make it more captivating, she proved the power of a simpleblack dress. While from the front it might look like just another black slip dress, the low-cut back and the train add flare to the simple design. The dress was from the Italian brand Pinko.

Before attentind the red Carpret she captivated everyone with her black tailored pants, broques and embellished top from Giorgio Armani she wore the evening prior for the Armani Beauty dinner. 

 

05 Cate Blanchett in louis Vuitton

Cate Blanchett sparkled in a tailored silk gown from Louis Vuitton for the closing ceremony of the film festival on September 10. The actress paired it with diamond-studded white gold bangles and rings from the High Jewelry collection. 

This complete Louis Vuitton look gave her the right honour to receive the Volpi Cup for the Best Actress for the movie "Tár".
