How was dating in your early 20s different from today?
Elena Kosmina: "As we grow older, we all become more mature and rational. In my early 20s, I was extremely romantic and naive—what a beautiful time that was (laughs)... Now that I have more experience, I’d like to think that I would think twice before falling in love and considering someone ‘the one.’"
What do you think are the guidelines for a successful relationship?
Elena Kosmina: "There’s no specific recipe for that. I’d say loyalty, trust, respect, and mutual support are the key foundations for a lasting and happy relationship between two people."
What are your thoughts on marriage?
Elena Kosmina: "Family is an absolute priority for me, and of course, marriage is part of that journey. But personally, I believe that if you love your partner and share the same goals, it can become a wonderful chapter filled with love and life’s most beautiful memories. And sometimes, things get really interesting—but that’s the beauty of it!"
Is there something you’ve learned about relationships and friendships that you didn’t know 10 years ago?
Elena Kosmina: "I’d say I’m more cautious now with people I’ve recently met. I don’t trust others as easily as I did during my teenage years. My circle of friends is small and has been part of my life for years—they’ve become family to me."
What is the most important relationship in your life—your mother, siblings, partner, or friends?
Elena Kosmina: "My family means everything to me. My parents and my partner are my absolute priorities. Of course, I also have amazing friends. Some of them I’ve known since school, and we still keep in touch, even though maintaining relationships isn’t easy because I’m constantly on the go. But I try to make the best of it. I’m very grateful to God for all the people in my life and the support I receive—I’m incredibly lucky to have them."
