Ole Lynggaard x Net-a-Porter Capsule
The global e-tailer NET-A-PORTER and the leading producer of ethically sourced colored stones Gemfields have released two capsule collections that will support Space for Giants. It is an organization, which protects the great wildlife landscapes that Africa's remaining elephants need to survive and thrive. Particularly in this difficult time of economic crisis, when travel and tourism are impacted, wildlife and natural habitat are even more vulnerable to exploitation.
All profits from the sales of the exclusive capsule collection will directly benefit Space for Giants. “We are honored to be partnering with Space for Giants on these exclusive capsule collections, with all profits benefitting the charity and the worthwhile cause of protecting Africa’s wildlife and landscape at this crucial time,” said Elizabeth von der Goltz, Net-a-Porter’s sales director. A few days ago, the campaign released of two exclusive capsule collections:
This unique piece of jewelry is the perfect symbol of loyalty, strength and courage and creates awareness for the protection of African wildlife. "The concept refers to the question: How can we turn a unit of consumption into a conservation unit," explains Dr. Graham.
The campaign was shot by Francesco Carrozzini under the creative direction of Riccardo Ruini and models Arizona Muse and Selena Forrest at the Enasoit Game Sanctuary in Laikipia, Kenya. The photos show the beauty of the African wilderness - something Net-a-Porter and Gemfields want to preserve for future generations.
Dr. Graham holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and has studied and reported extensively on Kenyan elephants. When he learned that these elephants were killed by poachers, he founded Space for Giants in 2010.
Among the 15 brands selected by Net-a-Porter, such as Burberry and 3.1 Phillip Lim, OLE LYNGGAARD KOPENHAGEN is the only jewelry brand. Space for Giants aims to provide much needed support to protect African elephants and preserve their natural habitat. In doing so, they are committed to preserving the ecological and economic values that nature conservation offers.
Wildlife and natural habitats are particularly vulnerable to exploitation, especially in this time of crisis, which has hit travel and tourism particularly hard. All proceeds from the sale of the exclusive Capsule Collection will go to the charity.
