Wandler Unveils Dynamic SS22 Collection
For Spring/Summer 2022 the source of inspiration is Palm Springs mid-century Modernism, specifically that depicted by Slim Aarons’ photography. Aarons was known for his images of poolside glamour in Palm Springs - the optimistic, high-end aesthetic feeds into Wandler’s designs for the summer season. Bold pop colors, curved heels and sleek shapes, all with an untouchable glossy feel are reminiscent of Aarons’ imagery. He celebrated women during Hollywood’s golden age with a refreshing boldness. The mid-century Modernism complemented with Palm Springs, resulted in new architectural shapes and a fresh, yet vibrant range of colour blocking - think, baby and flamingo pink, bright lemonade green and desert dune beiges.
The collection is carried by a selection of high-end retailers, including Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion, Browns, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Shopbop, Harvey Nichols, Lane Crawford, Galeries Lafayette, Nordstrom and leading boutiques including Luisa Via Roma, Tsum, Antonia, Breuninger, Le Mill and La Samaritaine.
