Vestiaire Collective x Rejina Pyo
Vestiaire Collective launched 2009 in Paris and is the leading global platform for desirable pre-owned fashion. It encourages customers to join the circular economy of sustainable fashion, as an alternative to the current throw-away culture, while presenting them with rare, authentic and quality pieces.
On 6th of July 2020 Vestiaire Collective enters a new partnership with Rejina Pyo, which stands in the name of seasonless and modern pieces. The philosophy behind Rejina Pyo is to encourage individuality, while producing the long-lasting fashion that withstands the test of time. Less trends, more quality.
Especially for Vestiaire Collective, Rejina Pyo has created an exclusive capsule collection of 50 “Future Collectables” each piece of which, has been handpicked by Pyo. The exclusively created edit of accessories and ready-to-wear pieces introduce an easy-going, yet a colorful and exciting aesthetic Pyo is known for. “The core values of the brand are versatility, quality, sustainability and longevity..”, says Pyo. “..We don’t design pieces to follow trends. We have always encouraged our customers to wear pieces over a long period of time, and should they wish to part with the piece, gift it, or sell it on a luxury resale platform such as Vestiaire”
Among many other items, the collection includes some of the highly coveted designs from past seasons. Such as the puff sleeve dress known as the Marigold Jamie Dress, the versatile and flattering cotton Greta Dress, the signature Olivia Box Bag, Asymmetric Ruffle Skirts and Denim.
The Collaboration reinforces the idea that fashion should be respected and considered, by driving forward the concept of a more sustainable fashion ecosystem through quality. The aim is to inspire the consumer to extend the life-cycle of their fashion pieces and build their own fashion archive.
The “Future Collectables” edit launches today on July 6th 2020 on vestiairecollective.com
