An issue dedicated to the power of Team Spirit: L'OFFICIEL Austria | Summer 2021
Repetitions of words - as you know, should be avoided as much as possible, and yet you will come across one particularly often in this issue: Cooperation. That's the catchphrase of the hour, which is sung about not only in this issue but in 19 others as well. Because fashion no longer relies on soloists, but on duets. In this issue, we also devote ourselves to the perennial favorite, which, admittedly, is not entirely new.
Because fashion, that much is clear, has always only been possible as a collective. So it's all the more welcome that this attitude is now finally being communicated to the outside world. From young design talents to the very big labels, more and more couples are emerging who no longer face the battle for customers alone, but are pooling their creative forces (page 92). This may be due to another clearly overused term: Covid-19 seems to have its fingers in the pie and is probably one of the reasons why so many creatives now go hand in hand. In glad hope that we can replace the crisis with cooperation, it should be mentioned that, as usual, we are not limiting ourselves to just one topic, and so there are 36,638 more words waiting to be read by you - from inspiring editorials (page 52) to fascinating interviews (page 120) and neat reportages (page 112), we want to expand not only your vocabulary but above all your horizons.
