Temperatures are rising and lockdown measures are falling. It seems like the perfect time to opt for glamping when it comes to that long-awaited holiday. A blend of glamourous and camping, the most luxurious version of outdoor fun has continuously been gaining popularity in recent years. Whether in a classic camper van, chic lodge tent or modern tree house, there’s the right accommodation for everyone. Ready to move in and fully decorated, needless to say.

Due to the pandemic, the interest and desire to be closer to nature has never been more prominent. Austria as well as other surrounding European countries with their diversely picturesque landscapes and growing number of glamping sites are a paradise for lavish campers.

To make sure that nothing stands in the way of a luxurious holiday surrounded by nature, it's time to assemble that perfect holiday wardrobe. Collaborations and capsule collections by Prada, Gucci and, most recently, Fendi got you covered when it comes to glamping essentials.

Gucci x The North Face

In a never before seen collaboration, Gucci and The North Face have come together to celebrate their shared values of adventure and self-expression. The silhouettes for womens- and menswear are inspired by The North Face's 1970s originals while creative director Alessandro Michele adds his expertise along with the famous fabrics and prints of the house of Gucci. Their work culminates in a joint logo where the half dome meets the iconic red and green stripes.

It may be glamorous camping, but let's not forget about a solid pair of shoes. The leather hiking boots, available in black, brown and off-white, have a lace-up fastening with metal eyelets and feature a sturdy rubber sole with tread. Styling tip? Simply wear the cream-coloured cotton logo socks underneath.

Summer evenings can sometimes get a little chilly. The beige and ebony shearling jacket with hood and patch front pocket is both comfortable and sustainable as the logo embroidery is made out of organic cotton. If you find yourself in need of something more weatherproof, opt for the waterproof nylon puffer jacket in a floral print.

Fendi Summer Vertigo 2021 Capsule Collection

For the Summer 2021 Capsule Collection, Fendi partnered up with New York visual artist Sarah Coleman. The result is ready-to-wear for men, women and children featuring the new Fish Eye motif, a psychedelic twist on the iconic FF-logo.

Following the athleisure trend, windbreakers and two-pieces come in the brown and yellow typical of the Italian brand while a bright glacier blue and crisp white are thrown into the mix for fresh accents. Signature accessories like the Peekaboo or Baguette 1997 received a modern update.

What to pack? A khaki denim dress with large, versatile pockets in nylon and hood with drawstring is perfect for a walk on a sunny day, where you don’t want to bring along a bag. In case the weather takes a turn for the worse, the green nylon poncho is a good choice. A special zipper construction allows for the pieces to be easily folded into a shoulder bag.

Feeling like swapping the glamping resort for a night under the stars? The Fendi Vertigo x Ferrino tent is your opportunity to connect with nature on a whole different level.

Prada x Black+Blum

The catering at your glamping destination may be topnotch, but that does not mean you have to kick a picnic off your agenda. The Prada x Black+Blum collaboration is here to save the day.

Together with the London-based company, the Italian brand has developed sustainable designs made from high quality, durable materials which feature clean yet elegant logo embossing.

The lunch box with a bamboo lid is made of stainless steel and has silicone compartments on the inside. If you fancy bringing a summery salad or detoxifying soup along, the glass and stainless steel box with a 750 ml capacity can fit your meals perfectly. Of course, silver cutlery should not be missing when snacking outdoors. The three-piece set, each with the logo elegantly engraved, comes in a case making it easy to carry along.

STÜSSY x Helinox

Two worlds collide in the collaboration between STÜSSY and Helinox. On the one hand, the pioneering streetwear label from Laguna Beach, California, and on the other, highly efficient, ultra-light outdoor and camping furniture from South Korea. The result? A limited edition beach chair available at select STÜSSY Chapter Stores and Dover Street Market locations.

The chair for lavish camping lovers is made of environmentally friendly high-end aluminum tent poles. The low weight may be deceiving, but due to Helinox' special technology, the beach chair is incredibly robust and stands just as firmly on sand as it does on concrete. The batik pattern in sand colors and dark purple is incorporated into a breathable, weatherproof mesh fabric. The iconic STÜSSY logo adorns the backrest. For transport, the chair can easily be folded and conveniently stored in a matching bag.
