There is no question that our world has changed dramatically in recent months, in some ways temporarily and in other ways more permanently. In the fashion world, too, the question is: how best to deal with the situation? The luxury label Ashi Studio is setting an example.

Mr Mohammed Ashi, the mastermind behind the luxury label, made prêt-à-porter in his early days, with Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy or Elie Saab. In 2007, he then launched his label "Ashi Studio" in Beirut and dedicated himself to haute couture. He has always been passionate about art and architecture, benefiting from his strong visual memory and transforming inspiration into creations. This adaptability and changeability is now reflected in his new collection.

Ashi Studio will launch an e-commerce platform to introduce it, starting with loungewear. The unisex collection is characterized by textures such as pure silk and cashmere that are extremely comfortable to wear.

The photoshoot for the new loungewear line features iconic South African model Georgina Grenville. The nineties’ favorite iconic model has graced countless Vogue covers over the years and was the muse for Tom Ford in the 1990s.

The images, which were taken in a safe and sanitary environment, capture the spirit of what life in quarantine is like. Georgina Grenville is seen lounging in the new line by Ashi Studio while at home with her family in Paris. Proceeds from the loungewear line will be given to charities around the world that are helping families affected by COVID-19.
