This Season, Paris Was All About Louboutin
Christian Louboutin's "Paris is Louboutining" dazzled with a surreal aquatic show at Piscine Molitor, featuring French Olympic swimmers in heels for SS2025!
Christian Louboutin's “Paris is Louboutining” was a hypnotic aquatic spectacle at Piscine Molitor, co-created with artistic director David LaChapelle and Blanca Li for choreography. The show featured the French Olympic artistic swimming team performing in heels for the first time, a nod to Louboutin's SS2025 collection. The performance, set against the Art Deco backdrop of the historic pool, blended dance, music and breathtaking visuals. LaChapelle's renowned surrealist style, using vibrant projections and fountains, established a dreamlike atmosphere reminiscent of 1950s Hollywood water ballets, reimagined for a modern audience. The synchronized swimmers and dancers created stunning geometric patterns, culminating in a final reveal of iconic Louboutin red soles emerging from the water.
For Spring-Summer 2025 Christian Louboutin's collection, inspired by Beauty and the Beast, unveiled a range of exquisitely crafted footwear and accessories emphasizing both timeless elegance and modern innovation. Key pieces include the new Miss Z pump, a contemporary classic with a unique sole and sleek design, alongside updated versions of iconic styles like Kate Max and Condora, and a new line of animal-inspired designs. Limited-edition styles, such as the Belle range with its elaborate, hand-crafted details, showcase the brand's dedication to exceptional craftsmanship. The collection also introduces a complete eyewear line and expands the popular Loubi54 bag collection with new styles like the Soft Pouch and Le 54 Tote.
Launching in January 2025, the new collection promises a diverse range of styles, from sophisticated pumps and elegant sandals to comfortable flats and statement boots, all reflecting Louboutin’s signature blend of artistry and modern design.
