The humorous Fashion-Intervention: Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week
Balenciaga presented its 2022 Spring/Summer creations on The Simpsons characters as part of Paris fashion week. The Balenciaga collection, which emerged under the creative directorship of Demna Gvasalia, became the hottest topic of the fashion capital. Gvasalia, who managed to surprise his followers and fashion lovers with very different themes before, introduced his collection, this time, by including the world of fashion in the universe of one-dimensional cartoons, with a section where the residents of Springfield appeared on the runway.
The 10-minute video describes the letter Homer Simpson wrote to Gvasalia about wanting to gift his wife, Marge, an expensive dress for her birthday. Influenced by his love for Balenciaga, the designer invites the entire town to Paris to appear in his fashion show. Many important names such as Anna Wintour, Bartender Moe and Smithers also take part in the fashion show.
