After the announcement of the conversion to digital of the Paris Fashion Week dedicated to men's collections, the official communication arrives also the haute couture week will be only online. The French Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has put on track a digital platform to give Haute Couture houses to be part of a dense calendar of digital events from 6 July to 8 July 2020. Schiaparelli will be the first brand to inaugurate the first Paris couture digital week at 10 on Monday 6 July while Valentino will close it on the afternoon of 8 July at 18 which also thought of a double appointment dedicated to high fashion, presenting the collection also live on 21 July in Cinecittà, with performer and restricted audience. Monday at 2.30 pm, for Chanel it will be the second virtual presentation of the maison which, at the beginning of June, had unveiled the cruise collection through an exclusive video shot between and during the quarantine and revealed only online. Among the absentees at the first digital edition of Paris Couture Week, Giorgio Armani who chose to bring the Armani Privé collection back to Milan, while Hermés organized a fashion show / performance on Sunday at 2.00 pm visible to everyone on the brand's website.
