The very first Frankfurt Fashion Week will take place from 5 to 9 July 2021. Under the motto "Reform The Future", high-fashion brands as well as up-and-coming designers and newcomers will present their latest collections. The events will take place throughout Frankfurt to create a link to the urban scene and thus combine fashion with lifestyle, which is so dynamic in Frankfurt.

"Frankfurt Fashion Week stands for a progressive fashion culture and its active discourse."

The aim is to create a new Fashion Week ecosystem and to sensitise people to changes in the textile industry. The entire Frankfurt Fashion Week includes trade shows, conferences, showcases and events.

The focus is on two topics in particular: Sustainability and Digitalisation. Through international conferences with Fashionsustain, Frankfurt Fashion SDG Summit and The News European Bauhaus - Workshop of the Future, important and current concerns of the fashion industry will be discussed and debated.

Speakers at the conference include 57 industry experts, including: Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, Lucie and Luke Meier, Creative Directors of Jil Sander, Michael Klinger (CEO of Mytheresa) and Nadja Swarovski, Chair of the Swarovski Foundation. Due to the Corona pandemic, it was decided to hold the Fashion Week digitally and this includes an extensive programme. The good thing is: everyone has the opportunity to be part of the online event. You can register on the official website: https://frankfurt.fashion/de

Europe's biggest fashion fairs, namely Premium, Seek and Neonyt, are also part of the five-day event and enrich Frankfurt Fashion Week with valuable know-how and talent. This way, relevant representatives from different parts of the industry can network to realise a better, sustainable fashion industry.

"The guiding themes of sustainability and digitalisation shape all events and experiences aimed at fashion professionals and a new, progressive generation."
