Dior Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025: A Journey of Metamorphosis
The Dior Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show, under the creative direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri, was a visual celebration of metamorphosis. The collection, inspired by the concept of transformation, presented a stunning blend of movement and fabric.
Materials seemed suspended in mid-air, swirling around the hips as puffball skirts or recalling unfurling petals. The dramatic scenography, created by Rithika Merchant, featured crinolines in a state between formation and disappearance—either in the process of becoming full floor-length dresses or vanishing into thin air, leaving only delicate, hand-embroidered floral motifs behind.
Before the show, prominent guests such as Deva Kassel, Lena Perminova, and Heart Evangelista caught everyone’s attention with their street style. Their stylish outfits perfectly complemented the transformative themes of the collection, adding an elegant accent to Dior Haute Couture.
Metamorphosis, the powerful idea that Chiuri explored in this collection, was reflected not only in the designs but also on the streets of Paris, where street style and couture seamlessly merged.
