Alberta Ferretti and the summer inside
The Summer inside which is reflected in the clothes. This is how Alberta Ferretti imagines the Spring-Summer 2021 collection. The strength of naturalness in combinations, in walking, in particular on flat sandals, ideal for holidays by the local sea or in the most exotic Balearic and islands of Greece. A touch of romanticism doesn't hurt, with puffed sleeves over broderie anglaise camisoles and long slip dresses in chiffon, a legacy of lingerie that mixes with more casual and sporty outfits. A carefree, positive and easy wardrobe for a woman who dreams of positivity and movements of agile elegance.
Dyed denim, cropped trousers, Sangallo lace that becomes a suit. In the lines that distinguish the collection, the upper part of the look is very important, both in the pronounced shoulders of the double-breasted buttoned jackets and in the bias-cut ones of the suits, as well as in the hand-made knitwear and in the suede blouses. Continuing with short chiffon dresses and long ones in embroidered cotton muslin as in the evening dresses in chiffon with tie & dye effects. All accompanied by maxi bags for the beach and not, buckets recalled in crochet and wooden beads that adorn the silk sandals with intertwined satin strings. “I am convinced that, in difficult moments like this one, fashion should not stop or give up but claim even more its role as a necessary tool to tell the time in which it was born.
