Victoria's Secret Model Shanina Shaik talks about VS Fashion Show 2019
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show started in 1995 and has become a tradition every year to present the most famous models to parade on the catwalk in very extravagant lingerie sets. The show gave us iconic moments: Rihanna's sexy parade; Ariana Grande dodging Elsa Hosk's wings; and not to mention the countless appearances of Gisele Bundchen and Naomi Campbell . It can be said to be one of the most anticipated television events, but it looks like this year's is canceled.
It turns out that while talking to the Australian publication The Daily Telegraph, model Shanina Shaik said: "Unfortunately, the Victoria's Secret show won't happen this year." It was a surprise since no press vehicles received the news from the company.
Shanina went on to say, "It's something I'm not used to, because every year around this time I'm training for the parade. But I'm sure something will happen in the future. I think they're trying to work on branding and new ways to do the show because it's the best show in the world. "
In May, The New York Times reported that the show will no longer be broadcast on the network. At the time, CEO of VS parent company Les Wexner said he “decided to rethink the traditional Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. In the future, we don't believe the TV network is the right option. ”But he said nothing at the time that the show itself had been canceled.
