For the first time, the renowned artist presents her work in a solo exhibition in Bavaria's capital, following appearances in prestigious institutions such as the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Venice and the MAXXI Museum in Rome. This exhibition is a milestone, powerfully addressing the intersection of art and the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

An Artistic Vision for Sustainability

Rita Sabo’s work centers on Earth—not merely as a habitat but as a sacred, inviolable planet. With her iconic Sacred Planet sculpture, a sphere encircled by rings symbolizing the flow of energy, Sabo creates a timeless emblem of respect and responsibility toward nature. The exhibition also features large-scale paintings that blend the geometry and symbolism of past eras with a modern context.

Art as a Call for the Planet

A particular highlight is the vividly colored sculpture group dedicated to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These pieces invite viewers to reflect on the importance of biodiversity and global responsibility. The exhibition is supported by the YOU Foundation and the #Art4GlobalGoals campaign, which advocate for education and sustainable future opportunities.

A Bridge Between Past and Future

The symbolism in Rita Sabo’s art originates from ancient mythical signs, skillfully combined with contemporary forms. Her distinctive visual language transforms these symbols, enabling a reinterpretation that resonates on a subconscious level. “With my art, I aim to reach people on a subconscious level,” Sabo explains. “I utilize symbolism, transforming it from the past into the present and transcending it into the future.”
