Giorgio Armani will exhibit the work of architect Tadao Ando
First exhibition dedicated to Armani's architecture, Tadao Ando, The Challenge will be inaugurated at the Salon Du Meuble in Milan. The most important creations of the architect will be presented on this occasion at the Armani / Silos. A narrative course designed by Ando himself in collaboration with the Pompidou Center will take place according to 4 themes: Primitive Form of Space , Challenge of the Urban , Genesis of the Landscape , Dialogue with History . "I want to create an architecture that will live forever - not in substance or form, but as a memory engraved in the hearts of men," explains Tadao Ando.
The retrospective reveals more than 50 projects illustrated with sketches, original models, screenings, technical drawings, travel notes and photographs taken by Ando in person.
