Parisian Chic meets La Dolce Vita: Dior and Vespa design a scooter of a special kind - "Vespa 946 Christian Dior"

Dior and Vespa, both founded in 1946, thus create an irresistible homage to the art of living and the sun-kissed pleasures we long for post-Corona. The iconic Vespa model has been redesigned by Maria Grazia Chiuri, as have the related accessories, which include a top case and helmet. Formally known as the Vespa 946 Christian Dior, the scooter features a saddle with the signature Dior-Oblique detailing, complemented by the scooter's beige paint and bronze-gold retro details.

"I have so many happy memories with a Vespa in the leading role," Chiuri said in a press release. "It is a symbol of Italian that is closely linked to my personal history, and it is now part of my professional life at Dior.

This is without doubt the most surprising and coolest collaboration of the season and already makes us jet through narrow Italian alleys in the warm summer wind and dream of the feeling of freedom.

But we will have to be patient to get our hands on this ultra-limited piece. The creations will be presented in the spring of 2021 in Dior boutiques around the world and then in a selection of the Piaggio Group's Motoplex stores.
